Alan Pardew: “Hopefully We’ll Have A Good Scenario Out Of All The Bad Publicity”
After 25 days with no word from Alan Pardew, usual service is now being resumed with numerous quotes floating around earlier today from an interview the manager has given to BBC Newcastle.
However, Alan Pardew has also spoken to the official club TV station and given us added information and insight into where he’s coming from.
“Obviously there has been a change above me, Derek’s left the club…and now we have Joe in that role. I hope Joe can influence Mike so we can bring in some great players. Me and Graham (Carr) will put them there and hopefully Joe can get them over the line.
If that’s the case then hopefully we’ll have a good scenario out of all the bad publicity we’ve had.”
With all football clubs, if things are going well on the pitch then other weaknesses, stupidity, nonsense is pushed to one side. So likewise, if out of this summer’s chaos Newcastle United do strengthen the squad to a point that reassures fans that the club has moved forward, then talk of Kinnears, (Yohan) Kebabs and Kerfuffle will also be pushed to one side.
At this moment in time though it would take some leap of faith to believe that this is going to be the case but as Alan Pardew says; “…hopefully we’ll have a good scenario out of all the bad publicity we’ve had”.
