Why Don’t Newcastle United Look Closer To Home?

There is a lot of speculation about who we need to buy and who to replace,  apart from one or two – all of the replacements are foreign.

Nowt against the others but why don’t people look closer to home?

Adam Campbell is an England Under 16,17 & 19 player – there, that’s the striker sorted.

Paul Dummett and Connor Newton are both reported to be of interest to Celtic, so are Newcastle going to let them go and then rue their mistake.

They can’t be any worse than the midfield/defenders we already have, give them a chance, maybe not all at once but at least try them, they may just surprise us.

I remember when liability Staylor started, he got a run around for a while but they kept him in the side and he came good, though recently unpredictable and unreliable.

So nowt to lose because if the aforementioned need a bit more time away, at least they’ve had a go and may stay with us.

A big point in their favour is they’re here and won’t cost owt.

Should also mention Gael Bigirimana (England Under 20s) for midfield and he’s already scored for us, what do you lot at The Mag think then?
