Time For Playground Bullying Of Kinnear To End…Well He Started It!

I saw a headline elsewhere which said ‘It’s time for the playground bullying at Newcastle United to stop’.

The article was interesting and gave a slightly different perspective,  basically saying that Kinnear isn’t responsible for the current mess at Newcastle United and that too much has been made out of the daft things he’s said since Joe revealed his appointment.

We Know The Feeling Joe!

We Know The Feeling Joe!

Plus the author claimed that if indeed JFK’s appointment had brought about the departure of Derek Lembeezee/Llambias then we should be thanking our new Director of Football.

Obviously our headline is slightly tongue in cheek but he hardly slipped in quietly and got his feet under the table before going on the offensive did he? Attacking the fans, Shearer, local press and so on…so when those people have a go back then the childhood refrain of ‘Well he started it Sir/Miss’ is fair enough in the circumstances.

As the author of the piece points out, before Kinnear arrived at Newcastle there were a lot of things that needed fixing so the last thing we needed was a bull charging around the china shop making sure that everything else was smashed…beyond repair?
