Sick Of Ashley, Kinnear, Everything At Newcastle United? – How To Cancel Your Season Ticket

We have had a number of fans asking how to go about cancelling your season ticket if you have already committed, either buying outright or by instalments on the 8/9/10 year deals.

Spurred on by the madness at St.James’ Park with no new signings as yet, the appointment of Joe Kinnear, the departure of Llambias with no mention of a replacement Chief Executive/Managing Director yet…little wonder that some fans are wondering just what is the point?

If you have a season ticket that you have bought outright this summer then I’m afraid that all you can do is wait until next summer and not do the same again, if you feel you’ve had enough.

As for those of you who like me have taken advantage of the fixed price season tickets over 8,9 or 10 years, I’m sorry but you are stuck.

After investigating it was as we thought, Mike Ashley didn’t introduce the long-term deals out of the goodness of his heart.

Around January/February earlier this year you would have had a letter saying that if you didn’t want to renew for the coming season then you had to cancel the arrangement there and then, you had to make your decision without knowing which division the team were in, whether we’d still have somebody running the club (Chief Executive etc) or even if Ashley would allow Kinnear to infest our lives again.

So next Jan/Feb you can cancel for next season but all you could do now is if you feel that strongly is you would probably be able to stop paying your instalments but you’d have to write off what you have already paid towards this year’s season ticket.

I’ll still be going and continuing to pay my instalments (at least until next January/February) but I won’t be doing it with a spring in my step.
