Premier League Crackdown On Illegally Showing Live Newcastle Matches

In the future you could find it that little bit harder to access live Newcastle matches.

With £Billions being spent on the right to screen Premier League matches live, it is no surprise to find the interested parties cracking down on those profiting from ‘their’ product.

With the Premier league looking to protect their interests (and money!) they have gone after one of the worst offenders.

The likes of BT and Sky are pouring fortunes into football and obviously wouldn’t be happy that websites such as www.firstrow1.eu are currently streaming live matches.

The major UK ISPs including Virgin Media and TalkTalk are expected to not challenge action to restrict access to websites such as this one, which is based in Sweden,

This move follows on from action taken against websites that were breaching music and film copyrights which were successfully blocked.
