Newcastle’s French Players Must Learn English…Another Quiet News Day Then?

The ‘big’ story floating around the press this morning is that Newcastle United’s French contingent must learn English double quick.

Is that really the best they can do? This story was going around towards the end of last season as poisonous articles were published trying to stir things up regarding alleged splits between the French players and the rest.

Back then, the poison was followed up by the headlines surrounding claims that the law had been laid down and players had to learn English double quick.

If only the problems we have at the club could so easily be solved by Sissoko and the rest getting GCSE English.

Reading the ‘headlines’ today, it is just the same nonsense. Or maybe they are going to give Debuchy, Mapou and their mates detention if they don’t measure up, or what about doing a hundred lines of ‘I must learn my bestest English as soon as possible’.

They say people get the press that they deserve, we must have done something pretty bad to have to put up with this rubbish.
