The latest annual Global Sports Salaries Survey review of average pay to first team squad members of sporting clubs around the world has just been published.
As you can see the list goes from the very top with Manchester City first team squad players averaging £100,000 (weekly wages rounded up or down to nearest thousand), right down to Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 278th place, their players on averaging getting paid £954 a week each.
City though may be about to be overtaken as US baseball team the LA Dodgers saw their average player pay leap 67 places form No.69 to No.2, with weekly pay more than doubling on average. Details of salaries taken form the latest available information.
In the following list the first number is the position in the list, followed by average pay per week for their first team squad.
