Is Ashley Regime Really An Experiment To Test Perseverance Of Fans?

What are the benefits of Kinnear as Director of Football? What does he actually bring to the table, other than another cog in the bureaucratic wheel?

As far as I have seen, no Newcastle supporter would want him. Which is not like saying a majority don’t want him here…NO Newcastle supporter wants him. The appointment is therefore antagonistic and disruptive.

I must admit to being completely bewildered. You try to stay positive as a Newcastle fan, in the face of so many false dawns and moments of what can only be described as comedy of the blackest variety.

However, I’m starting to think that the Ashley regime is some kind of experiment to test the perseverance levels of fans to ridiculous stupidity!

Anyway, back to Kinnear. So what else does he bring?

A fantastic reputation? No.

A deeply layered and currently viable network of connections? I highly doubt it.

Even just plain and simple professionalism? Very ‘f***ing’ unlikely!

Nope, in reality this is exactly what it looks like; cronyism of the highest order from Mike Ashley, a man who obviously cares not one jot about what his client base of fans think. A man who seems to thrive on a milieu of chaos.

In the end, after six years as owner, what has been achieved? I just don’t understand it.
