Claims Of Sunderland Reject Attack On Elvis
Reports in Ireland claim that an ex-Sunderland striker has attacked an Elvis impersonator, breaking his nose.
Forty nine year old Anthony Bradley was in a Dublin nightclub and was allegedly attacked by ex-mackem striker Anthony Stokes, according to the reports.
The Daily Record have said that police in Ireland have confirmed that the person accused of being involved is Stokes and they have described the attack as ‘vicious and unprovoked’.
The assault caused three broken teeth as well as the broken nose in the VIP area of a nightclub where Bradley had gone after putting a shift in as an Elvis impersonator.
Stokes’ current club Celtic have said that they will conduct their own inquiry once the police investigation is complete.
Police will reportedly speak to Stokes once he returns from holidaying in the Caribbean.
