Cabaye – ‘If You Don’t Want To Be Here You Need To Change Profession’

Yohan Cabaye has once again been interviewed in South America, though it is unlikely to attract the same amount of headlines as [intlink id=”29720″ type=”post”]the one[/intlink] he did before the Uruguay friendly.

This time, Yohan has been interviewed in advance of the friendly with Brazil tonight and has been reminiscing about ‘A Special Match’ to him.

Please find below our expert translator’s take on the video interview (If any other media use our translation then grateful if you can name check The Mag and link to our article).

Cabaye: “Un match à part” A Special Match

Yohan Cabaye; ‘For me it’s 1998, the final, the first World Cup victory for the French team, it is for sure that there are moments that return to mind easily; the header from Zidane, lifting the cup, for sure these memories for someone like me who was young at the time are unforgettable, now to have the opportunity to play for France against Brazil is a special match, they are special moments.

I am sure we are all pleased to be here to experience it, an opportunity for the future, all players are delighted to be on the pitch to live that moment. They are still a top team with great players, for me they are one of the top teams in the world.

Their position in the standings prove it too despite the facts that some of their results have not been great, individually they have some top class players who can do some great moves at any moment. Now they have changed manager so we may see some changes but we are expecting a big match, the South Americans are very technical, can pass by other players whenever, for me that’s what they are about and at the back they have strong players notably, Thiago Silva, it’s all of that.

If you don’t want to be here you need to change profession.’

L’équipe probable starting eleven tonight includes both Newcastle players who are away with France: Lloris – Debuchy, Rami, Sakho, Mathieu – Cabaye, Matuidi, Guilavogui – Valbuena, Payet, Benzema.

Watch the video below, as well as Cabaye talking there is footage of Yohan training with the French team, looking in an altogether better mood than when he gave that interview pre-Uruguay.
