More Questions For Alan Pardew

Alan Pardew’s question and answer session at the end of last season, on Radio Newcastle, made a lot of headlines.

A repeat performance was due to happen (on Friday 19th May) with the manager taking questions.

However, Radio Newcastle announced that the event has been cancelled, no reason given and nothing heard since. The assumption amongst most fans was that those above Pardew had put the block on it.

We had asked fans to suggest questions that Alan Pardew could answer and this is a small selection of what came in (This follows on from [intlink id=”29232″ type=”post”]Questions For Alan Pardew[/intlink]).

Just the odd talking point…

(Murvar) Why do you persist in playing players out of their best positions, sometimes more than once in the same game – and not only because of injury? Sometimes players have been moved to another unfamiliar position within the same game. Surely this can only weaken our cohesiveness on the pitch?

(NUFC Tips) Would you agree you lack ambition and always set unrealistically low goals in order to lower expectations?

(GToon) The general consensus of opinion amongst seasoned Toon fans is that you seem to care about the club but lack the tactical nous to take us forward. How do you react to that and what can you say to the fans to reassure them that we might be better organised for the coming season?

(BigJB147) Why is Gouffran always subbed?

(Dave) Would you have handed in your resignation if Newcastle got relegated this year? Under what circumstances would you hand in your resignation?

(disqus_dV3G6PqAbd) Why do you always sit back as soon as we have a lead, do you not feel it just puts pressure on us?

(Hirdy) Can you please enlighten us on your half time pep talks? Every time we came out for the second half of our games this season we were horrible.

(Heaton Mick) Why have we not scored from a corner for 18 months? How often are they practised on the training pitch? What are you going to do differently next season?

(Simon Walker) Why without Colo are we not strong at the back and why without Ben Arfa do we lack drive and creativity, an inability to put teams on the back foot?

(One David McCreery)  Where would you like the Blueline taxi to pick you up from and don’t to worry about the cost as I have raided my piggy bank for a one way trip to London.

So no chance to pose the questions direct to the manager but interested in hearing your opinions below if you’d like to leave a comment..
