Cabaye Makes Clear Where He Sees His Future
Like a lot of football fans, Newcastle United’s are just as guilty of taking extreme positions as the next group of mental fans.
Some people can seamlessly change their opinions of players during the course of a match never mind a season and social media & message boards etc. lend themselves to people trying to outdo each other in how much they love or hate somebody at any particular moment.
In the case of Yohan Cabaye, many fans have been singing this season that they ‘predict a riot’ if Cabaye was sold. Some fans now though even question whether he’s trying in matches amid much speculation of the Frenchman possibly moving elsewhere in the summer.
Yohan has come out today in the Chronicle and reassured fans as to his commitment;
“I have three years of my contract left and now my mind is just on saving the club.
We have 2 cup finals then it will be the holidays, but I’m at Newcastle, I don’t want to think about the future with 2 games left.
I’m very very happy to play for this club and these fans.”
