Alan Pardew ‘I Think 80% Of That Team Next Year Will Do Very Well’

Alan Pardew must have been pleased with the overall performance of his team despite the full-time score.

Analysing both the Arsenal Match and the overall season, the manager had some interesting comments after the match.

This is what Alan Pardew had to say;

“We’ve got very good young players and I think 80% of that team next year will do very well for us but they do need a lift, a bit of experience and a bit of quality.

We’ve got some great players here, it is key for us next year to keep everybody fit.

We were under strength to enter two competitions as we did, the Europa League on the Thursday night takes a lot of legs for the Sunday.”

I do think we should stick with Pardew but I think he must be desperate for his holidays judging by some of his comments.

Why oh why does he have to keep on going on about the Europa League and injuries. We knew we were in Europe months before the first match so why didn’t Newcastle strengthen the squad? Injuries is something every team gets and with a few signings we’d have coped a lot better.

I think also that while we have got the odd outstanding young player such as Santon, the big strength is surely that we have a load of players in their prime; Cabaye, Tiote, Taylor, Debuchy, Cisse, Ben Arfa and so on.

What about this 80% though, or more to the point who are the 20% that Alan Pardew doesn’t think are up to it?
