Newcastle Linked With Move For Brazilian Star
Newcastle United are being linked with a summer move for Brazilian Marcos Rocha.
Rocha was linked with Newcastle before Mathieu Debuchy eventually signed in January.
Now it is claimed that United will go back for the player in the summer, though they’ll face competition allegedly from Inter and Roma.
Italian newspaper ‘Il Corriere Dello Sport’ are reporting that the Atletic Mineiro full-back will leave the domestic Brazilian league in the summer, with his profile raised after getting called up for the national team earlier this season.
The stylish twenty four year old full-back could be a real asset for Newcastle but no doubt we’ll be linked with countless players before the summer transfer window actually opens.
With Danny Simpson leaving in the summer and the Newcastle United squad needing strengthening regardless, we can expect a number of departures and arrivals, as recent injuries have show we still haven’t got a big enough pool of quality players.
One bonus of course is that Rocha is used to playing in black & white stripes…
