Did Everybody Know Which Newcastle Team To Pick But Alan Pardew?

Why have we played so miserably this season, why did we play so awful today?  The answer for the whole season is plain and simple; Pardew.

Now last season and even up to this game against Liverpool I have been a fan of Pardew, but now after a season that can only be described as a miserable , my eyes have been opened and I realise our success last season came at the hands, or feet rather, of our players, not Pardew.

Last season we had a great starting 11 who suffered hardly any injuries which meant every week our manager would throw out the same good old team and that would be job done.  Now however, with the injuries Pardew doesn’t know who to play, he might as well just be picking names out of a hat, the man doesn’t have a clue.

I think before this game nearly every Newcastle fan would have agreed the best team we could put forward today given the injuries would have been

Elliot; Debuchy, Taylor, Mapou, Haidara, Anita, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Sissoko, Gouffran; Cisse

But instead our beloved manager starts Gutierrez, Perch, and Tiote instead of Gouffran, who was by far our best player last week and should be replacing Gutierrez in the starting line-up , Ben Afra, who I feel is fit enough to start, and Anita who offers something in attack and defence, unlike Tiote who has played rubbish this season .

Onto his tactics, they’re terrible. Put away the fact that we haven’t scored a corner in the Premier League since October 2011, the fact that he seems to tell them to go defensive when we take a 1-0 lead and he tells them all to go forward when we’re losing leaving us exposed at the back, and am I the only one who thinks our defence has got worse as the season’s gone on?

With Pardew running the team into the ground there is no doubt in my mind that some of our top players will leave this summer.

Imagine being Ben Afra who has been constantly linked with Liverpool and playing against them today, sadly I think he will be one of many to go.

I say we have to sack Pardew between now and the summer if we want the club to go forward. If we could just manage to hang onto our players this summer, strengthen our squad  and get a new manager who’s motivated and know his tactics, I think Newcastle could replicate last season’s glory.

Sadly however, with that eight year contract I do not think Ashley will sack Pardew and I fear our players will leave and all of last season’s work will lead to nothing.

I did not mean for this to be a rant, but Pardew, you have ruined us.
