Chance To See Newcastle United’s Emerging Young Talent This Friday

Fans will get a rare chance this Friday to see Newcastle United’s young talent make an appearance at St.James’ Park.

United’s U21 reserves take on Crystal Palace at 7pm this Friday (19th April) and as an added bonus, all season ticket holders and members don’t pay for these matches, though remember to bring your membership card/season ticket.

Thank to a convoluted process, Newcastle’s kids could still emerge victorious despite failing to make the Elite Group thanks to poor early season results, ending up in Group Two instead.

However, United are currently only four points off the top with two games in hand and if they did win the group then they would go into the end of season finals if winning a play-off against the winners of Group One.

That would then see them contest the U21 title with the top three teams who made the Elite Group.

Anyway, if you are free on Friday get yourself along and support the kids, with West Brom the following day it will be interesting to see if Alan Pardew lets Adam Campbell have a run out and he may also play the odd over age player as he did last week with Gabriel Obertan.
