Alan Pardew Wants To Meet The Fans
Following the derby defeat, for the first time you had real debate amongst the fans about Alan Pardew’s future at St.James’ Park.
After inching another point towards safety at the Hawthorns, Alan Pardew was asked about the fans and what had been said recently about the club and the position the team were in.
Speaking to the Evening Chronicle, the manager has suggested setting up some kind of meeting/event with supporters;
“I know where we are, I’ve no problem at the end of the season talking about this season overall – I think we can set something up.
I think emotions are running high and will probably be until the next home game (Liverpool).
We are just looking to get rid of frustration, I said that to the players.”
Obviously the big priority is to do the talking on the field and drag ourselves away from the relegation zone.
It would be two very different conversations depending on which division we are in next season.
