Yohan Cabye – ‘It’s The Best Feeling In My Life’
Interviewed by Sky Sports before the Swansea match he had this to say;
“I love to score, I love good football, every time I can score or we can win the game, it’s the best feeling I can have in my life”.
“It is really important to make sure we speak English with everyone even when a French player is next to us, so sometimes the manager just passes next to us and says you have to speak English here, it’s very important”.
On Sissoko –
“Very fantastic, very good. Good energy, good technique, he can score and deliver assists as well. “
Does he (Papiss Cisse) score that sort of goal (against Southampton) in training?
“Yep, he can do really good things every game on the pitch but he has to be right in his mind to keep focus on the pitch, on the ball”.
About this season –
“This is football, sometimes you can play for the top places at the top level and sometimes you have to fight for relegation. For me it’s the first time but I think it is really good for the experience”.
The great thing is that, as we all suspect and want to believe, Yohan Cabaye really gets the whole Newcastle United thing and is the permanent captain elect.
He obviously really rates Moussa Sissoko and I think he is pretty spot on with Cisse, who is clearly a confidence player and thrives when on a bit of a run.
With Cabaye leading from the front I think we will be seeing the very best of our players both short, medium and fingers crossed, long-term.
