Essential Diary Dates For Newcastle United Fans

9 years ago

(Amsterdam) Field Of Dreams

After Thursday’s night’s nailbiting win against Anzhi, all eyes turn to the draw for te quarter finals.

The Champions League draw is scheduled to begin at 11.00 GMT in Nyon, with the Europa League one to follow, scheduled for a 12.00 GMT start.

It is a free draw so we can play any of the seven remaining clubs; Benfica, Chelsea, Basel, Fenerbahce, Lazio, Rubin Kazan or Spurs.

The dates for the remaining rounds of the Europa League are;

Thursday 4th April Quarter Final (First Leg)
Thursday 11th April Quarter Final (Second Leg)
Thursday 25th April Semi Final (First Leg)
Thursday 2nd May Semi Final (Second Leg)
Wednesday 15th May The Final

I’m guessing most fans will be hoping to avoid the Premier League clubs for various reasons and those hoping to make the away leg with no doubt have everything crossed for Benfica or Lazio…so it’s nailed on we’ll get Rubin Kazan!
