Alan Smith Sells Record Number Of Shirts!

While Mike Ashley was one of a select few who proudly wore Alan Smith’s name on his replica shirt, it is a different story at Smith’s current club, MK Dons.

The goalshy striker/midfielder has sold more replica shirts than any of his MK Dons teammates.

The Dons’ club shop has sold a staggering…seventy two(!) shirts with ‘Smith 11’ on the back.

In addition, the MK Dons club shop has also sold almost 150 Alan Smith postcards, another record for the current team.

Nice to know that our former player is appreciated elsewhere and they are getting value for money…

I must admit to being quite shocked that seventy two shirts is the top seller for one of their players, I’d have thought a mid-ranking League One team like MK Dons would have generated more income in terms of shirt sales.

It just goes to show yet again that when you move away from the cash rich Premier League, it is a quite different story lower down.
