Alan Pardew – “We Can Do An Everton”
In the lead up to what could potentially be a cracker against Chelsea, Alan Pardew feels able to look up the league once again whilst still knowing there is a job to be done to make relegation fears totally disappear.
In this pre-match press conference footage, the manager talks also talks about the return of Demba Ba and where Newcastle United are now without him.
On the subject of looking up though he had this to say;
“We have to make sure the team is strong enough between now and the end of the year to not just secure our Premiership status but hopefully a little bit more than that.
Give us real optimism for next season if we have a second half of the season like Everton did last year and who have taken it into this.
We have the potential to do that but we have to realise it”.
What do you think is realistic this season for United now?
