Tiote’s Never Been Part Of Problem, He’s Essential To The Solution
One of Newcastle United’s established players has welcomed with open arms the challenge of keeping his place alongside the January signings and with this particular player I’ve got no doubts he’s relishing the fight.
Cheick Tiote is inspirational on his day and with the quality of the new players he can get back to his very best.
When Cheick came back form the African Nations and ended up on the bench he didn’t complain, now back where he belongs in the engine room, this is what he said to the Shields Gazette;
“The manager has made some very good decisions to buy players and this has helped us.
I think we will all be able to work well together and I think we have a great chance to win a lot of games.
When you look at the games to come there are plenty of chances to win, if we work hard.
We are happy with the squad that we have here and everybody gets on really well, we’re all looking forward to the rest of the season.
Things are looking much stronger and everyone must fight for their place.
We can go for Europe; we want to go as far as possible in the Europa League”.
I don’t know about you but I often get frustrated at the limitations of some of our fans who can’t tell the difference between honest triers who can fill in now and then, compared with players of real quality who can help take the club forward.

James Perch seems a great character and just like Ryan Taylor and the odd other squad member, they are good to have around as back-up. Cheick Tiote though is the real deal and on Sunday we saw once again that as well as his physical side, he can be a very good player on the ball.
Cheick Tiote has never been part of the problem, he’s always been part of the solution.
Considering Spurs are only 9/1 (see all odds here) and have to overcome Inter Milan in the next round, Newcastle are great value at 22/1 to win the Europa League, especially if you aren’t already a customer of BetVictor and take advantage of their special offer of a £25 free matched bet.
