If Newcastle Fans Thought They Had It Bad With Nile Ranger…

If Newcastle fans thought they had it bad having to put up with the antics of Nile Ranger, it is typical that our local rivals have to try and go one better.

The mackems’ James McClean has now been fined 2 weeks’ wages after tweeting about his love for a pro-IRA song.

You may recall McClean has already upset a lot of people nationwide when he refused to have the image of a poppy on his shirt in respect of Remembrance Day.

Now he has been fined after breaching club rules for the third time in eighteen months.

The latest slip is his Tweet about the love of a song, The Braod Black Brimmer, which is song about a boy whose father is killed while fighting for the IRA and is a reference to the style of hats worn by IRA members back in the 1920s.

Unfortunately, the misuse of social media just proves again that just as in real life outside of football, there are some pretty thick people who want all the rights and none of the responsibilities.
