Evidence Of Alan Pardew’s Tactical Genius Reborn

Alan Pardew’s team formations, selections and substitutions may have taken the ‘odd’ knock this season but are we now witnessing further evidence of his true tactical genius?

You try to keep your feet on the ground but after only two matches you can’t help but feel ever so excited at the 180 minutes we have seen of Moussa Sissoko.

He’s hit the ground running and continued to run, very fast.

Having seen what Sissoko is capable of with already a goal assist at Villa and two match winning goals against Chelski, you will no doubt be keen to learn of his excellent goalscoring record in the less competitive Ligue 1.

In 54 appearances over the two seasons (year and a half) Moussa scored….3 goals.

Playing in a more withdrawn role, Sissoko was undoubtedly a very important player for Toulouse but has this been a moment of genius from Alan Pardew?

Despite coming into the harder demands of the Premier League, Sissoko looks a total natural for that role as a second striker/midfielder who can maraud around causing havoc, creating and scoring goals with his energy and ability.

The team are back on form and so seemingly is Alan Pardew, we salute you.

Moussa Sissoko may not have scored a bucketful of goals in France but before he left, Toulouse asked him to pick out some of his best moments for the club and turned them into this tribute video, it includes some crackers – watch out for the free-kick! The video originally appeared last week so to watch it visit – [intlink id=”23714″ type=”post”]Exclusive – Toulouse Video Tribute To Moussa Sissoko[/intlink]
