Coloccini May Have Second Thoughts About Return To Argentina
Fabricio Coloccini might be having second thoughts about returning to Argentina.
A recent match between club teams Union and Arsenal (the Argentinean version) saw gamesmanship reach new heights, or lows, depending on which way you look at it.
Union’s Emanuel Britez decided to ‘touch up’ his opponent, Arsenal’s Pablo Luguercio, during a match.
Luguercio’s reaction was to punch his opponent and then burst into tears when he got the resultant red card.
Britez had this to say afterwards;
“It is just a tactic, touching his bottom made him cross. Sure, when I saw he was crying I did feel bad but I would do it again. I take each match as it comes”.
We have already seen players from other nations blamed for introducing simulation, or ‘diving’ as we would call it in old money, into the Premier League.
Maybe this will be the next import into English football, again it comes down to your personal take on things but I think I’d prefer this kind of ‘provocation’ to an elbow in the face!
