Toulouse Agree To Sell Sissoko To Newcastle
With Newcastle United’s policy of targeting players with contract clauses (Ba & Cabaye) and others who are winding down their contracts, one aspect that is always likely to be the case is the host club not exactly being happy with the situation.
While the Yoan Gouffran transfer appears to have gone through quite smoothly with the two clubs reaching a compromise as the player only had months left on his contract, things didn’t appear to be going quite so well in the case of talented midfielder and French international, Moussa Sissoko of Toulouse.
However, news is just breaking in France via RMCSport that a deal is reported to have been reached and the player is scheduled to sign tomorrow;
According to our information, Moussa Sissoko (23) Is well and truly leaving Toulouse for Newcastle this winter.
Olivier Sadran, president of Toulouse, reached an agreement with his English counterparts for the transfer of the French international who is out of contract with TFC at the end of the season.
The amount of the transaction is believed to be 2.5m Euros.
Sissoko, who is thought to have made significant concessions on his signing bonus, will sign for the Magpies on Friday for five and a half years.
