This Is Another Fine Mess…

To draw with Reading at home would be a result so unacceptable that it is hardly worth thinking about.

To have lost 2-1 at home to them beggars belief.

In all of my comments I have never said too much against Pardew but he has now, in my opinion, lost the support he earned last year. I don’t care who replaces him but he has to go.

He can’t run the show, can’t make tactical changes to impact the game, has no clout with the clown with the money and is basically taking a team, now only missing a few first team players, into the Championship.

Well done Pardew and Ashley. Any idiot could have seen the improvements we needed to make in the summer.

Any idiot could have seen the strain the Europa League would place on our team.

Apart from those two.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. I wonder who they are working tirelessly to bring in now. Don’t waste your time on anybody who wants to win things (including matches) and try looking for players who don’t rely on the tactics of an idiot to play the game.

I have supported NUFC for 45 years and have seen us relegated before, and deservedly so, but our current predicament lies totally and utterly with the board and manager.

I don’t blame any of the players. There are some who aren’t that good but they were bought at a time when they fitted the bill. The fact that we haven’t upgraded their positions isn’t their fault.

The sooner somebody buys our club the better. I wonder if we will break even as we get relegated?

I hope the 14 minutes it took Remy to score wasn’t lost on Laurel and Hardy.

I’m off now. I’m going to try to act normally with my kids, smile back at my wife, say hello to neighbours and envy those people whose lives aren’t dominated/ruined by football like mine.

Is it really only a game?
