Pardew ‘Ba In Line To Play Everton’

With so much focus on the January transfer window there’s a danger that a few people are forgetting the main business, mainly picking up points to climb the table.

Asked about his team plans for the Everton match, especially with regard to Demba Ba, Alan Pardew said;

“There’s nothing that I know of that suspects he won’t play on Wednesday (against Everton)”.

I thought Ba was excellent once more against Arsenal and caused the centre-backs a lot of problems, plus of course scoring the two goals that took him just one behind Van Persie in the Premier League top scorers list.

It is surely a no-brainer that Ba plays until a time when/if there is movement in the transfer market and he moves on and/or a replacement is recruited.

Demba keeps on putting in the performances whatever the situation with his contract and I hope the fans respect that if he plays on Wednesday.

The last thing we need is any knackers giving him grief, whoever wears the black & white should get our full support unless they aren’t giving their best.

No exceptions.
