Newcastle United Hitting A New Low With Remy Deal

If the latest news is to be believed, Loic Remy is about to join QPR rather than us.

So that’s Newcastle moving really quickly to replace Ba with a forward they have made their number one target after spending ages looking at various options is it?

This will have involved Pardew and Carr talking at length about the best player to fit into our system. They will no doubt have sounded out our French contingent to find out about the player’s attitude to make sure he would fit in with the group. They or just Pardew would have then told (or begged) Ashley and his mate to get him…and that’s when the problems start.

No doubt they bid the lowest amount they could and after finally getting the nod they then followed up their lowest bid with an equally low contract offer. What exactly are these clowns playing at? They are making a mockery out of our club. I don’t really care who Remy is, or what he can do, but to put the fans through this latest farce takes the biscuit.

Outbid by the bottom club? A club with gates even the Smoggies can beat! Where exactly does his leave us?

I think Pardew’s position can now be regarded as untenable. There is no way he can explain this one away. He is clearly not being supported by Laurel and Hardy above him. What exactly will they say when we go down cos they wouldn’t cough up a few quid extra, when the amount to be gained by TV money alone would buy our whole team.

They clearly can’t see beyond the end of their noses. This is really starting to get to me and my mates. We are all disgusted.

We have already said that if we are in the ‘proverbial’ at the end of the season we won’t feel like supporting them like we did in 2009.

It’s a shame nobody can put a bid in for Ashley and buy him.

The new issue of our magazine is now on sale in our online shop buy a copy for only £3 (plus p&p) or a subscription from only £23, copies also now on sale in all Tyneside newsagents.
