Italians Try To Unsettle Santon Again
Following on from AC Milan’s owner, Silvio Berlusconi, speculating that his coaching set-up rate Santon, we now have Milan’s assistant manager, Mauro Tassotti, speaking out of turn about another club’s player.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Tassotti had this to say;
It would be good for Italian football to have him (Santon) back in the country.
I know that Santon was a promising youngster and I don’t think he lost those qualities”.
With Debuchy signing and hopefully Remy shortly joining him, if Newcastle can belatedly get at least a couple more players through the door, it will fingers crossed belatedly encourage the likes of Davide Santon that he is at a club that is looking to bounce back from a poor season and even worse transfer ‘policy’ last summer.
Having a pair of attacking full-backs in Santon & Debuchy complementing the likes of Cabaye, Cisse, Ben Arfa and Remy, gives us a glimpse of what potentially could be a whole better scenario than we are facing at this moment in time.
