Well Here’s Another Fine Mess You’ve Gotten Me Into!

8 years ago

Laurel and Hardy, aka Lambias and Ashley, have royally screwed up on this one and their blueprint for the club has just blown up in their faces

We’re now officially in deep trouble with regards to the January transfer window and here’s why;

Why would a ‘top’ player want to come to a mid table Premiership team who obviously haven’t got a chance of winning anything this year, or getting into Europe at the end of the season – where’s the attraction in that???

Top players only come to average premiership football teams who look like they won’t win anything if the wages are good – Ashley won’t pay those kind of wages any more so we’re knackered on that front too.

Due to the internet and modern communication, the whole world knows Newcastle United are terrible at the minute and that our squad is far too thin to compete in Europe and the Premiership, we’re doing a ‘Stoke’ and the aeroplane is nosediving into oblivion. What this simply means is anyone selling to Newcastle will drive a hard bargain and Ashley having the mentality he has whereby he won’t ‘overpay’ for anyone, means we won’t end up buying anyone of any note.

The only movement in top players in relation to Newcastle United in January will be us selling a couple. The vultures are already circling and I will bet my bottom dollar that we lose Cabaye and A.N.Other in the transfer window, to teams who can offer more chance of winning something and European football next year.

As far as Newcastle United are concerned we won’t be successful in buying anyone in the January Transfer window who can better the squad. We might get a couple of cheap French squad players to replace those leaving but the squad will not be stronger or better, it’ll have taken a huge step backwards and still far too thin.

Laurel and Hardy aren’t looking so smug now are they?

I’ve taken a lot of stick for my negative stance this season – anything you wanna say now???
