Strong Squad & Xisco Named For Brugge

A strong squad has been announced for Newcastle United’s trip to play Club Brugge.

First teamers such as Cabaye, Krul, Santon, Cisse, Steven Taylor and Tiote have all been named, as well as Spanish outcast, Xisco.

It looked nailed on that red carders Cheick Tiote and Fabricio Coloccini would make the trip as neither can play against West Ham on Sunday.

However, the thousands of fans who have travelled will be pleased to see the likes of Cabaye, Cisse, Steven Taylor and Krul also on the plane.

A win in Belgium would all but mathematically guarantee Newcastle’s qualification for the knockout stages. This would then give Alan Pardew a lot more freedom in giving other players a taste of European experience, as well as allowing senior players to have full focus on getting Newcastle up the Premier League table.

The full squad is;

Abeid, Amalfitano, Sammy & Shola, Anita, Bigirimana, Cabaye, Cisse, Coloccini, Elliot, Ferguson, Krul, Marveaux, Obertan, Santon, Tavernier, Steven Taylor, Tiote, Williamson and Xisco!
