Cabaye Hopes To Make West Ham

A great point at Anfield but without the cruel injuries leading to three enforced substitutions, it could have been so much better.

One positive today is that Yohan Cabaye is making encouraging noises about his injury possibly not being too serious and even possibly being available for Sunday’s visit of West Ham.

Speaking to the Chronicle, Yohan Cabaye had this to say;

“We have so many important games coming up and I don’t want to miss out but I also don’t want to risk making this worse.

It’s a tight hamstring but I don’t think it’s too bad, in that situation I prefer to come off the pitch”.

Especially in the matches against Sunderland and Liverpool, Cabaye has reminded us what a good player, and finisher, he is.

It is no coincidence that his better displays have come when he has been able to play higher up the pitch and the two cracking finishes in those two away matches are the vital end product.
