An Offer You Can’t Refuse?

There has been a classic case of bad timing at St.James’ Park.

Last season the club sold cheap part season tickets during the season that helped bring in full houses in all but a handful of matches after Christmas.

This time around details have been announced on the back of defeats against West Ham, Swansea and Stoke, plus the price isn’t as tempting as their deal last term.

Below you’ll find the club blurb but exactly how ‘highly-anticipated’ the home matches against the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal will be nearer the date, is anybody’s guess at this moment in time.

Even if we get an unexpected lift at Stoke on Wednesday night, next Monday night at home to Wigan will not be for the faint hearted and will give us a pretty good idea of how many tickets are up for grabs as half season tickets.

‘Newcastle United have released details of their half season ticket packages, which are now on general sale.

Incorporating some fantastic fixtures, half season tickets allow fans to secure their place at the final nine home games of the season, including the highly-anticipated Tyne-Wear derby and clashes against Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

In addition to standard half season tickets, Members, current season ticket holders and their friends and family can also take advantage of up to 50 per cent off when signing up to one of several initiatives that have been launched by the Club.

The packages, which include the remainder of this season and next season, are available on interest-free direct debit and allow supporters to spread the cost of their ticket across the next 15 months.

Prices for a half season ticket on one of the new initiatives start from just £139 for an adult and £70 for a child. Prices for a standard half season ticket start from just £297 for an adult and £142 for a child. The half season tickets will be valid from the Everton fixture on 2nd January, 2013.
