Newcastle Stars Back For Training…and sunderland
There could be better news on the horizon with the international break maybe coming to Newcastle United’s rescue.
The news that Yohan Cabaye was missing France’s friendly with Japan last night with an abdominal injury has been softened by Alan Pardew stating, “I think he’ll be fine”, in relation to returning to training with Newcastle next week.
While with the likes of Tim Krul, Fabricio Coloccini and Steven Taylor, amongst others who have been carrying injuries, there seems to be a similarly positive outlook.
In relation to those players Alan Pardew commented, “Everybody else we are hoping on Wednesday will train but we’ll see”.
Needless to say, we can do with every one of our best players being fit for arguably the most important match of the season.
As we all know, if plucky sunderland even get a snappy draw it is still seen as some kind of moral victory by their fans and the press, never mind the odd apocalyptic time we do get beat…
