Reports Of sunderland In For Michael Owen

Various media organisations are reporting that the mackems are in for Michael Owen, please please please let it be true.

With Owen a fee agent he can be signed outside the transfer window and ITV, Sporting Life and teh Daily Mail amongst others are reporting that sunderland have made initial approaches and it remains to be seen if they land him.

Yesterday Owen updated his followers on twitter –  “I know who is interested but nothing will be done until next week”.

Surely a match made in heaven and just like when Steve Bruce and Roy Keane landed there it made every defeat they met with that extra bit special.
