Pardew Gets It Right WIth Coloccini Plan

There has been a strange twist with regard to Alan Pardew’s interaction with one of his players’ international set-ups.

When Tim Krul and Fabricio Coloccini were injured in the recent international break, the manager was intensely frustrated with the lack of feedback and information with regard to players, especially injured ones, when away on national service.

However, Alan Pardew has now seemingly become the biggest fan of Coloccini’s Argentinean set-up as he revealed;

“He (Coloccini) has been with his national team medics and he’s stayed in the warmth which is obviously better for a hamstring, plus he’s worked with the Argentina national team.

They are focused on the injury as it was done with them and I was happy for them to do that. I’m really pleased now he has come back, he’s ahead of schedule.

Sometimes when you get injured you have to do what’s right for the individual and looks like we got that right with Colo. I know him and he’s fine, he’s trained and he’ll come back stronger”.
