Newcastle fans with 100 or more loyalty points can now apply for Club Brugge away tickets.

The allocation currently remains at the ridiculous 1,470 seats which is 5% of their capacity, the minimum they have to provide.

Tickets for the match on Thursday 8th November are not guaranteed as the club will allocate them to those with the highest points totals.

The application form must be downloaded from www.nufc.co.uk (here) and then either emailed to [email protected] or handed in at the ticket office at St.James’ Park.

The club states that the forms will not be accepted unless travel details and accommodation arrangements are completed, which seems a bit at odds with the previous information warning you not to book travel/hotels until you know if you have a ticket. Presumably ‘intended’ travel/accommodation will suffice.

Closing date is Wednesday 3rd October and tickets are £33 with no concessions.

The club have stated that supporters who are successful will be informed after the closing date via a further update on the club website (maybe they are going to list everybody’s names…or alternatively state how many qualifying points were needed. Tickets will then be posted out.

Fingers crossed that Maritimo hammer Club Brugge next Thursday and with zero points after two matches they will suddenly find they can accommodate more Newcastle fans.
