NUFC Move The Season Ticket Goalposts

Newcastle United had announced that season tickets were starting to be sent out as from Monday (6th August) & everybody should receive them by 14th August at very latest and only after then to contact the ticket office if they haven’t arrived.

Yesterday NUFC have moved back that tipping point to Wednesday of when season ticket holders should wait until before getting in touch;

‘Thousands of season ticket holders should by now have received their cards ahead of the opening game of the campaign against Tottenham on Saturday.

The Club began sending out tickets, using a staggered approach, last Monday, and they should all have arrived with supporters by Tuesday 14th August.

Anybody who has not received their new smartcard by Wednesday, 15th August should contact the Box Office on 0844 372 1892 with their supporter number ready. The Club will then arrange for a duplicate to be printed, which can be picked up prior to the Spurs match’.

A decent number of people will be away on holiday and hoping to pass on their season ticket for the Spurs match which could present extra difficulties.

A couple of tips – if your ticket hasn’t arrived in time and you have to go down the alternative route, suggest whoever is going to pick up the duplicate gets there early because there could be a bit of a queue. We would also strongly suggest making sure with the ticket office what you’d need to bring when picking up the duplicate as no doubt some identification is very likely to be asked for…especially if it isn’t your name on the season ticket.
