Newcastle’s Young Players…Just Like Watching Brazil

Newcastle’s under 17s have made it to the final of the Milk Cup  in some style, 4 wins out of 4 and.a goal record of 15-1.

United were limited to only two goals in last night’s semi-final defeat of Bolton Wanderers but it was comprehensive nonetheless.

They reached the final of the Northern Irish competition thanks to Adam Campbell’s Sixth goal of the tournament and another from Rolando Aarons.

Campbell could have made an even bigger impact as he saw an early penalty kick put away, only to be made to have it retaken and saved.

The win has set up an intriguing final against Desportivo Brazil who hail from the Sao Paulo area and who linked up with Manchester United back in 2008 with a view to exchanging players and letting them experience different coaching ideas and styles.

The final kicks off at 8.20pm tonight (Thursday) at the Ballymena Showgrounds and you will be able to catch it on BBC2 Northern Ireland or on Sky Channel 972 in the UK, meaning you’ll be able to watch Newcastle three nights in a row on the box (see below).
