Newcastle v Fenerbahce – Colo and Cisse Back…

Team for tonight is Elliot, Tavernier, Coloccini, Simpson, Ryan Taylor, Obertan, Tiote, Vuckic, Gosling, Amalfitano, Ba and on the bench we have Williamson, Santon, Gutierrez, Marveaux, Shola, Sammy, Harper, Abeid, Bigirimana – plus late news is that Cisse is allegedly on bench as well.

The match tonight against Champions League bound Fenerbahce looks clearly the strongest test yet and kick-off is 6.30pm (UK time). Live coverage on ESPN, plus if you miss it you can watch highlights 2-3pm on Sunday.

It has also just been announced that Newcastle’s matches against both Olympiakos (27th July) and Braga (28th July) have been added to the ever growing list of United fixtures live on TV, the Braga match giving the possibility of meeting up again with ex-United player, Hugo Viana .

This follows the previous listing of our opening two Premier League matches against Spurs and Chelsea on ESPN, as well as the pre-season friendlies against Monaco and tonight when Newcastle face Fenerbahce, making ESPN an ever more attractive proposition for our fans.

If you already have ESPN then you will find it at Channel 417 on SKY and Channel 529 if you have Virgin Media, if you haven’t got access to ESPN then it might be an ideal time to sign up as they are offering a cracking deal at the moment and already our first two Premier League matches have been snapped up by them.

Also, if you have SKY or are thinking of getting it, see the great weekend deal at the end of this article.

The following six matches have already been confirmed as televised live, with no doubt many more to follow.

Spurs (H) – Saturday 18th August but moved to 5.30pm (ESPN)

Chelsea (A) – Saturday, 25th August but also moved to a 5.30pm kick-off (ESPN)

Everton (A) – Monday 17th September 8pm (was Sat 15th Sept) (SKY)

Manchester United (H) – Sunday 7th October 4pm (was Sat 6th Oct) (SKY)

Mackems (A) – Sunday 21st October 1.30pm (was Sat 20th Oct) (SKY)
