Thanks today to Lee Graham, who has delved back into his photo album to come up with this cracker from 1989 when he was Newcastle United’s mascot against Middlesbrough, down at Ayresome Park.

Lee is now in Spanish exile but still loving his football, find out how by reading his article earlier today.

Following Newcastle United away from home has always been a great laugh, even when events on the pitch were anything but!

Check out our Mag Photo Gallery featuring NUFC away days, a cracking collection of photos, many of which have previously featured in our magazine.

We want to add you to our collection of away day fan photos, send us your photographs to [email protected] along with details of where and when they were taken and who (if anyone) is in the photo. We will then add them to our online gallery for Newcastle fans worldwide to see (If you have any old photos that you’d prefer to send by post, please send them to ‘The Mag’, Baltic Business Centre, Saltmeadows Road, Gateshead NE8 3DA – we’ll return them afterwards).

It doesn’t have to be recent matches, dig out those photos from past, present and future trips and send them in.

The Mag Photo Gallery can be found in full at The Mag’s Flickr Channel with numerous categories such as; ‘St.James’ Park’, ‘Mag Covers’, ‘Home Match Days’, ‘Away Match Days’, and ‘Geordies Aal Ower The World’. To have your photo appear send it to [email protected] along with a short description about your image(s).

If you need inspiration for a birthday (or any kind of) present why not get them the new DVD, or something equally class from The Mag’s Amazon Store, or why not treat yourself!
