Supporting Football On Tyneside
Newcastle United’s most successful football team last season needs your help to continue its success. The aim is to help the club and its players to flourish, with the club potentially making a bid to join the FA Women’s Superleague.

Discussions held at last month’s FA Women’s meeting discussed plans to add another division to the successful Women Superleague. For Newcastle United Women to attain a place they need funding and sponsorship.
Each player is asked to find sponsorship of £400 a season to play for the club. The club itself require around £25,000 a season to compete, that’s the average weekly .wage of a male Premier League football. The following sponsorship deals are available for companies and individuals to support the club.
Opportunities range from becoming NUWFC Main Team Sponsor (£5,000), Corporate right through to ‘Adopting’ a player (£25).
There are numerous other ways to help and it isn’t just limited to companies getting involved. For example why not become a Match Day Sponsor (£100 per match) or Match Ball Sponsor (£30 per match) and do your bit to help women’s football to thrive on Tyneside.
