Fans Man Of Match v Wigan and Who Didn’t Get A Single Vote
Thousands of you voted in our latest feature which gives the fans the chance to pick their Newcastle man of the match.
The match was anything but a positive but you manfully put that aside to pick who you thought came out of the ninety minutes with some credit.
Every player (except one) got some votes, even though they may have relied of family, friends or their pet dog.
In first place with 43% of the vote was Hatem Ben Arfa, he came alive in a twenty minute spell in the second half which almost pulled United unexpectedly back into the match. Alan Pardew admitting defeat with twenty minutes to go and substituting the French genius to protect him for Chelsea on Wednesday.
Following Ben Arfa we had Papiss Cisse on 20%, Davide Santon on 10% and Tim Krul on 6%, after that the votes were few and far between.
Watch out for the chance to vote following the final whistle at Stamford Bridge and spare a thought for the only Newcastle United player not to register a vote against Wigan, step forward Mike Williamson!
