World Cup Winner Heads To Tyneside

We are bringing you exclusive news of a very special night on Tyneside that is lined up for the end of the  season.

On Thursday 24th May, World Cup winner Gordon Banks is travelling to the north east to link up with our very own Peter Beardsley and fellow ex-England international Ray Wilkins.

The event at the Lancastrian Suite in Gateshead will get everybody in the mood for the Euros and no doubt will also have a big Newcastle United flavour on the night.

Watch out later this week because we’ll be giving you a chance to win tickets for this special night in an exclusive competition, if you did buy tickets in the meantime your money will be refunded if you then won one of the pairs of tickets in our upcoming competition.

I’ll never forget how proud I was when Beardsley lined up for England in Mexico in 1986 and then in Italia ’90, imagine if we’d still had Beardsley, Gazza and Waddle at Newcastle then!
