Tim Krul – ‘Break Has Been Massive Boost, Bring on Stoke’
Tim Krul had one of his hardest workouts of the season in a training ground basketball game with the Newcastle Eagles today.
After the match (bit of an advantage when you are 6ft 5!) he revealed his thoughts on the run-in to Sky Sports and how the team focus is all about Stoke.
“Stoke is the most important thing, a home game and a game we have to win to keep the pressure on the top teams, we’re up there and we just have to keep the pressure on.
It’s incredible, it’s been a fantastic season so far, nobody believed that at the start of the season but we believed in team spirit and the belief is there and hopefully we can put it through to the end of the season”.
Speaking about the break with no game last weekend, due to Chelsea appearing in FA Cup action, Krul commented –
“We had a few injuries and the boys are coming back this week, that’s a massive boost for us. Good to power us up for the last five games”.
