I’ve Seen Some Rubbish Written About Newcastle But….

No sooner had I written an article regarding rubbish transfer speculation about Tim Krul and it went up on this website, than I spotted must possibly  rank as one of the worst ‘stories’ ever posted regarding Newcastle United.

We all know Newcastle United are ‘news’, it isn’t any coincidence that we have featured TWENTY times in the TV schedules this season, majority of those before we were acknowledged as anywhere near serious contenders towards the top.

Everybody wants their slice of black and white pie and something called Emirates 24/7, posted this nonsense –

“Chelsea are planning a shock swoop on Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul this summer, according to a report.

The Blues are lining up a £15 million move to Stamford Bridge for the 24-year-old Dutchman with the lure of Champions League football.

Roman Abramovich has agreed to bankroll a big-money offer for Krul after growing concerns at Chelsea over the form of Petr Cech, according to the Daily Mail.

The highly-rated goalkeeper is also a target of Chelsea’s FA Cup semifinal opponents on Sunday Tottenham Hotspur.

Newcastle United tied up Krul to a long-term deal earlier this year but owner Mike Ashley prides will not stand in Krul’s way at the right price for the club, the report added.”

(Read full article here, though I wouldn’t add another click to their figures if I was you)

First of all they are simply repeating some rubbish speculation from the Daily Mail but the real  belter is ‘…with the lure of Champions League football’!!!

Have they not got access to a league table? Can they not count that Chelsea are currently two points behind Spurs and ourselves with only five matches to play?

Unless I’ve missed the real story and Abramovich can lure Krul with ‘Champions League football’ because he’s bought Barcelona!
