The Chelsea Moral Maze For Newcastle United

It does your head in a bit when other team’s results can affect your season in more ways than one.

It is hard enough worrying about all the ups and downs of following Newcastle United.

This Sunday Chelsea play Leicester in the FA Cup. If the cockneys got through then it means we will have yet another match definitely moved from 3pm on a Saturday as the Chelsea v Newcastle clash on 14th April would have to move to accommodate their FA Cup semi-final….more inconvenience for the travelling fans.

However, Chelsea getting to the final of the FA Cup could be really helpful in terms of Newcastle possibly qualifying for Europe, depending on other permutations.

So should we be cheering on the King’s Road boys?

One other really bizarre one is that if Newcastle somehow finished fourth AND Chelsea won the Champions League, Newcastle United would NOT enter the Champions league as each country can only have a maximum of four teams in the competition – how sickening would that be for us, or whoever.

I think the safest all round is just to want Chelsea to get beat in EVERY match, anything else is just not natural!
