Whilst we are all gutted to see Captain Coloccini on the sidelines for the next few weeks, great to see Alan Pardew relieving any fears about the ‘still to settle in’ Papiss Cissé.

The manager has confirmed that Demba Ba’s mate came off with cramp and will be ‘fine’.

An absolutely ‘fine’ performance saw Papiss hit two cracking finishes and I can’t wait to see the Ba/Cissé/Ben Arfa combo in action against Liverpool. The three of them are seriously capable of making me believe that we could have some beautiful moments and matches ahead of us.

We all love winning but winning in style is definitely what we aspire to, great thing as well is that all three of them are also working hard for the team, even Hatem Ben Arfa in his own special way.

Many people talk about hard players but the hardest thing in football is being brave enough to hold onto the ball when there is a soft option to take, which isn’t necessarily the best thing for the team.

Ben Arfa is now coming into his own, class will always out.
