NUFC Player To Lift Trophy At Last?

Cheick Tiote and his Ivory Coasters last night continued their irresistible march towards lifting the African Nations Cup.

A 1-0 win over Mali sent Tiote into the final, a Gervinho goal enough to win the semi-final and they now play Zambia in the final match.

Cheick played the full ninety minutes and picked up a yellow card, just for a change.

Having coasted through five matches without even conceding a goal, Tiote’s team unsurprisingly remain massive favourites to lift the Cup.
